Pioneering New Standards in Biocompatibility
Today marks a monumental milestone for OrthoCore Labs as we officially commence Phase II of our clinical trials for Bio-Hybrid Implant Integration, in close collaboration with the prestigious St. Mary's Research Division.
Understanding Bio-Hybrid Implants
Traditional orthopedic implants rely purely on inert materials such as titanium or specialized polymers. While highly durable, they lack biological synergy with native bone tissue. Our new Bio-Hybrid framework utilizes a micro-porous titanium lattice infused with bioactive growth factors and cell-seeding gels designed to accelerate osseointegration.
Phase II Trial Objectives
Over the next twelve months, Phase II will focus on three key milestones:
- ▶Acceleration of Osseointegration: Measuring the rate of new bone growth within the porous implant lattice.
- ▶Inflammatory Profile Monitoring: Validating the biocompatibility and low-immunogenic response of the cell-seeding gel.
- ▶Functional Load Recovery: Assessing patient mobility and strength recovery timelines.
CODE_STREAM_ACTIVE// High-Level Data Metric Target [OSSEOINTEGRATION_RATE] target: +45% acceleration vs control [INFLAMMATORY_MARKERS] target: < 1.2x baseline levels [PATIENT_LOAD_BEARING] target: Full load at week 6
We look forward to sharing our clinical insights as the trial progresses. Together with St. Mary's, we are engineering a future where implants are not just accepted by the body, but become a living part of it.
